I think we should keep it the way it has been for as long as I can remember. On a day to day basis, there is really no reason to know what sex any of the people that post here are. Also, it's worked so far without any trouble that I know of. If you really want to know the sex of someone, you could just PM them and ask them. Also, if that was an option, there is nothing saying that the person wouldn't be honest with it.
