I think Sana Morette Ne Ente is an easy to know Japanese song. I already know the entire lyrics to it !

1st, I am talking DDR songs.
2nd, I feel it doesn't matter if you know japanese or not. I do not know a tap of japenese, and I can sing the first bit of Daikenkai, And the long version to Rose.

Ummmm....taking Japanese...it really helps. Me at least. The fundamentals about the nasals and the throat sounds with the songs and lyrics.

If you were to go to Japan and sing lets say Tears for example without the nasals and hidden nasal/throat sounds it could mean a totally different thing. Have you ever thought of that?

I don't know who is teaching you, but you should get your money back. Japanese doesn't use "hidden nasal/throat sounds" and how exactly can a sound be anything but hidden? The only time Japanese sounds even remotely nasal is probably with the Osaka accent.

There are only certain instances where the romaji sounds different from what it looks like (Hepburn system). So I don't understand why singing lyrics would give it a different meaning. Japanese is a flat language and doesn't add emphasis on syllables so adding emphasis won't make a new word, it just sounds like poor pronunciation at best.

Sana Morette Ne Ente and Graduation are the two songs I think can be sang easily. They're slow and you can catch the rythm quickly than most of the Japanese DDR songs.

I catch myself singing alot with any of the Pop'n Music songs in EX. Mahou No Tobira, LOVE LOVE Sugar, Daikenkai, and White Lovers.

Also, Ever Snow has nice lyrics as well.

I found the Dives pretty easy to learn. The chorus for Daikenkai was easy, but the rest is just ungodly to learn.

Luv To Me isn't really Japanese, but if you disguise your voice well enough, you can trick the n00bs. laugh.gif
