Contrary to popular belief, Spike is not awake or around 24 hours a day, and he's the head honcho in this case.

Or that a large portion of the active forum really was no longer interested in posting even remotely intelligently. But I guess that's a subtle distinction.

Has anyone from the NY forum looked at the other regional forums? Everyone there has friendly, chit-chatty conversation inside threads for particular arcades. They don't feel the need to create nonsense threads multiple times a day.

You WOULD think that. You would think people might grow up at some point. I'm still waiting for it to happen.
Quote: | How are people supposed to meet eachother and build friendships if every mod of this forum feels it's spam. |
Looks like it's happening regardless to me. Or maybe we DON'T think every conversation is spam. Maybe we're NOT Nazis, and are only locking the threads that are complete trash. GASP.

So? This isn't one of those message boards. We like it if things can stay at least a little on topic. If not, and it's in the regional boards, so long as it's not retarded as sin (and/or violating state laws), I don't think anyone here really cares.

Yes, the thread entitled "Phrekwenci may be a tool, but Remy is still a bigger cunt.", that was really creative. I was honestly surprised what a high brow and creative method of bashing was.

Heaven forbid a nonsticky post go beyond three responses before locking it. You woulnd't want any conversation to take place in a thread just because the initial question was answered. Now it appears the NY forum is also a lost cause. We'll see. |
Ah, so YOU'RE the one posting comments on my blog.
The "locking spree" you refer to was when two people bumped about 10 old threads needlessly. Sure, I know, they're just having "fun". God forbid I hinder them trying to "just have fun".
And as for Console Games - wow, there are a whole two locked threads on Console Games, and I locked all of one of them. I'm such a Nazi. And I give out points so often for people not reading the first post (I think I've done it all of once). Jesus, what's wrong with me? I haven't locked a soft pad or metal pad thread in months, even though we have the two stickies. Apparently I'm not actually doing my job! _________________

Hey Fuzzybear, if you're going to make points, you should either make points that haven't already been disproven, or provide evidence. It would make your points that much more believeable.
But anyways, I like your use of generalizations and lack of desire to see the truth. Remy pretty much took care of what I was going to say, but if need be I'll say it again later
NY forums are open again. I'll be watching them, and I'm sure other moderators will as well.
