about 3 weeks ago i was playing and this dude asked if i cared if he joined me, i said it was cool, and we played through 2 songs, then on the 3rd song(final) right before it started he took his shoes off. i didnt notice until about 20 secs of playing, that it started to smell. a sec later it was horrible! it was the worst foot smell ever! i got up and left the machine cuz it stank so bad. some people about 10 feet away playing street fighter millenium or whatever left and went to the back of the arcade in the middle of playing as well. That dude cleared out the front end of the arcade till he left. it was horrible.

Heh, I really don't mind shadowers as long as they're not annoying. Once about a month ago, I was playing Dam Dariram on Trick, and this cute little two or three year old girl climbs up onto the pad next to me, stands up, and does the cute little kiddy dance that kids do sometimes, bobbing up and down using their knees as leverage and all.
I smiled at her and asked her if she was playing (I knew where I was in the song E10.gif), and in this cute little chipmunky voice she was like, "Yeah!!" and her parents weren't too far off watching. It was cute....I think I've started the child on the path of the good side riiight.gif

On another note, little kids aren't the only ones who can be annoying. I've seen older guys who can play 3-4 footers doing that newbie "Jump for every single FRICKIN step" style, and they think they're SOOO good.

Quite awhile back, while I was still doing 4-some 5 footers, I saw this, and I looked over at my friend, then over at the guys doing that. They had this HUGE cup of tokens, so we asked if we could just get on quickly after them, since we had to leave soon. I suppose they figured, "Oh, a couple of chicks, oh well, let's just give them a chance to play their little game real quick."

Yeah, they had a real arrogant little smirks on their faces, like "Oh yeah, we bad." But me and my friend got up there and played our best songs of that time, which were ones like Dynamite Rave and Dam Dariram (Basic of course, we hadn't been playing too long). Then the last one was "Love Again Tonight," and I could go backwards on like 1/4 of the song. So I did that on the song, and we left those guys gaping at us while we left. Goes to show that girls aren't all DDR Illiterate as some dudes think.
((Nothing against you guys, I'm sure you don't think that, just those two did, and we showed 'em up good! biggrin.gif ))

And that...is my Newbie Success Story. LOL

Wow, I wish that would happen. Except the last girl i talked to was sorta ugly, but she had big boobs.

E9.gif i usually just get little kids trying to step on the back arrow or play with me in the middle of an oni..the glare of death or a friend catching them before they get there fixes that quick E1.gif

This little kid that used to play kept picking smoke and a few other songs back when we used to have a 3rd mix. He tried to do doubles once but he didnt know how to enter it. he ended up trying to play both the 1st and 2nd player sides at the same time... sarc.gif Of course my friend and i had to intervene to make things right...we were embarassed for the kid...

One time i was playing and this 4 year old (?) gets onto the machine and starts walking her way onto my side...i tried to play and watch her at the same time. I couldnt have hit her off cause she was still a baby...luckly one of my friends were there to pull her off...and where was her mother? at another store!!!

Dont you just love it when people come up behind you and say, "Dude, thats so gay! blahblahblah!"? It makes me wanna just hop off and wing something right at their heads... frust.gif

Yeah, in Abilene, we do nto ahve that problem because the kids want to learn how to play the game, but back in Little Rock, you have every little kid wanting to act and say they can play the game. One time, there was these....yeah I will say brats. One picked heavy and the other one picked light. The heavy player did not know how to play the song for nothing. They were in it to tick off the people who know who to play the game because they knew that as long as the light player passes, they both pass. Luckily, I was too busy laughing after the fact that the light player failed wwwblondegirl, one of the easiest songs known to mankind, and they get anal at me for laughing. "Better luck next time."

On the other hand, another time a little kid jumped up and hit the back arrow while I was playing. I kicked the kid to make it look like an accident, but the little guy just ran and cried to big brother. You never seen a brawl break out so fast in your entire life. DDR people vs. Non-DDR people. Luckily no one was injured, and the manager apologied for the altercation because he understood why DDRists react the way we do in the game. We kick the kids for getting in the way, and then we get introuble from the family members.
