Yes, that'd be a bad bump, and it's obviously not the kind of thing I was talking about.

Let's take the locked "payed (sic) to play DDR" thread. It's been noted here that this topic has come up before. I looked, and there's a thread in the Arcade board about using a tip jar, but it hasn't been posted to since August. So my question is, should the guy who started that topic have bumped a 7 month old topic, or should he have just kept his mouth shut? If I'd been him, I probably would've started a new topic too, but apparently that's the wrong answer.

I would much rather create a new thread and have a mod give me a link to the older one and lock it rather than waste my time searching through every thread looking for something that might not even exist.
