I emptied my cache AND refreshed about 4 times. Let's say, when I make a reply to a post, the forum listing doesn't acknowledge it immediately. |

It's because you touch yourself at night.
No seriously, the forums use caching, so it won't show immediately. Such is life. Your post still shows, doesn't it? Does it really matter if it doesn't show within 10 seconds after when you posted? _________________

It's because the forum cache is delayed by about 5 minutes.. so the forums dont reflect new posts immediately. _________________

Now now...I've been having this problem a lot lately myself. It's forum-specific it seems - I don't see new post markers anymore in 11, 22, and often 35, even though the newest post timestamp is current. For example, I haven't visited South since last night at about 10 PM, and when I got on this morning, no new post icons, even though people have been posting.
It's been happening about a week now, and it's pretty consistent. _________________

I have no idea what you're talking about. Also, I don't seem to be experiencing any problems. _________________

Here's an example. I loaded up my spread of forums this morning and started modding at about 8:30 AM. I had to go shopping and drop off Lisa, so I got back at around 1:45. I load up all the forums again (bookmarked tab set in Firefox), and I look at Consoles. I have a New Posts marker in the Extreme thread, but nowhere else, even though the Ultramix 2 thread has new posts as well (I can tell because the most recent post timestamp is like 10 minutes different from the Extreme thread, and I haven't been in all morning to read).
It's *possible* that my problem may be tied to problems with my cable company, but I've been having this problem for about a week or so now, even though I've just started having cable IP issues since last night. _________________
