Gee, uhh... Thanks!  I guess I'm the new Mod of the Month.
I'm a little saddened by the lack of response for MotM, though.  Only 55 people?
In any case, I'll poke Kiba and get him to do Phrekwenci's questions and Phrekwenci can come up with some for me, so hopefully we can catch back up again on interviews.

Well, maybe if they had more time to vote. Like maybe a week? Plus, the poll did open on a weekend. Less traffic around then. |

That's why I gave a full 3 days this time, because of the weekend (they had all of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and part of Monday). I've played with the number of days for awhile now and ended up settling around 3 or close to it because if the poll is up for too long, we only get stragglers on the last day, just a handful of votes.

Or we get disappointed and disillusioned with the whole thing when some mods don't even bother filling out their interview.
I seriously doubt that explains much of the large downturn -- maybe people are just getting tired of it. No offense to your presentation skills or anything, IguanaGrrl. People just don't like getting in a rut.

Well, people keep voting for the same mods. And it's not that said mods are not deserving of the honor, but you can only interview the same person so many times until you know more than you really want to know about them or care to know about them. But I agree, timely interviews would be better and keep momentum going. Perhaps the mods that don't interview should get their title revoked? So that whenever MotM cannot fufill thier duties, 1st runner up....  |

No, Mouse was the only one who missed her interview, but that was 3-4 months' worth of voting to finally get her to win! Then when you don't get to read the interview, you wonder if the whole effort was really worth it or not.
But then, is anything?

And it was my turn to interview her too, which means it was my set of clevely crafted questions which were read and then forgotten.  It was gonna be funny too.
