You should take into consideration that ITG PS2's timing is slightly bigger than the arcade's. _________________

I wonder if it would be possible to determine the average % increase for that extra 2 ms on all windows. I imagine it is rather small. _________________

I wonder how the pad error/delay of a CF compares to that of the pads on a dedicab...you'd probably have to account for that as well (which would just make the % difference even smaller). _________________

You should take into consideration that ITG PS2's timing is slightly bigger than the arcade's. |
taken from Roxorgames.com
"Why is the timing window slightly larger on ITG PS2 than in the arcade?
The timing windows for the PlayStation 2 are exactly 2ms larger than for the arcade. This is because the input sampling is less accurate on the PS2 (60Hz sample rate) compared to the arcade (100Hz sample rate). With a lower sampling rate and identical timing windows, you will generally get fewer Fantastics than at a higher sampling rate for an identical performance.
The 2ms number was arrived at by playing both the PlayStation 2 game and arcade game side-by-side with the same controller and calibrating the PS2 timing window until our test player consistently achieved the same number of Fantastics on both versions."
Therefore, it isn't an issue. The timing window increase was so that that home and arcades could be equal due to the way the different hardware works. _________________

One tournament OBVIOUSLY proves everything. How's this for a theory? Kevin and Mike are both incredibly talented and skilled, and both world-class players. |

Completely agreed, but Kevin's cool because he's short.
Anyways, when it comes to just looks, TJ3 is the funniest. He's like my size (I might actually be bigger) anyway, he looks to big to be that good at ITG
Ok, now for an impressive score contribution, did someone actually *** Tell? that's crazy! And yeah, *** Pandemonium is just plain sick. I don't care AT ALL what you think of home versions, you go play a home version and try to *** Pandy. Yeah, I knew you couldn't. The timing window difference from home to arcade is so similar there's basically no difference, unless the arcade pads you use suck out loud.
(DDR is a different story.....) _________________

| I'm not sure I agree with your home version argument. JSB passed gravity on a cobalt flux with stepmania like three years ago. |

well this is ITG home version we're talking about here... Roxor tried to make the home version as equal to the arcade as they could.... Stepmania, on the other hand runs quite different.... and the default perfect window on SM makes even DDR US console versions look tiny. _________________

Um, have any of you played on a CF before? Really, have you? I'm not trying to bring down any of chris4life's accomplishments, they're all very good. But from the couple videos i've seen, he plays on a CF with no arcade mod, which means, it's flat. I remember seeing some of his actual arcade scores a while ago, and yeah, they werent close.
Home version is easier.
As to which score I think is the best? That bloodrush score easily. Another thing to remember when about that score... That sh-t was done back in July or so.... |

| Hey all you smart cats, Pickles' video is on a bugged machine. His actual percentage was around the 87% range, which is terrible. |

13 on Bloodrush is far and away more impressive than 71-4 on Pandemonium. _________________

I thought kevbo got a 98% on Euphoria or something, that would be my pick. But it's not up there, so the Vertex^2 will suffice (even though Bloodrush is going to win [and is incredibly hard in its own right], I think Vtx2 is harder to step) _________________
