|
|
So the movies 10 minutes from my house decided to get rid of their falling apart DDREX. It's a namco arcade. Apparently another dist. company bought it. It's the biggest moneymaker in the arcade, so they are replacing it(confirmed) with a "better machine". Now, this may mean SuperNOVA, it may mean no machine until SuperNOVA 2 comes out, or (hopefully) In The Groove 2 dedi
I've found out that the closed gaming company that namco uses(Brady Games) has an In The Groove 2 dedicab, SuperNOVA dedicab, and a PIU NX dedicab. Now I personally want the ITG2 dedi(duhh) but i wanna give him some better reasons for putting it in instead of Supernova. So I'm making a list. gimme your reasons? _________________

Expert players will come often and spend lotsa money in the arcade( say a hundred per month, 100 sounds big even if it is not) _________________

drew this up in AP Psychology a minute ago. did i miss anything?
Many experienced players will come from up to about 100 miles to play.
Many players will play around $90-100 per month playing.
Pads do not break often, and are much better quality than ddr pads.
Game is very popular.
No dedicabs in area, and they are highly preferred to upgrades.
It will bring much more traffic to the location. People will drive from all over just to play a dedicab, and then they will see the other games.
Contains many more songs than ddr, along with better music and stepcharts.
Is overall preferred to ddr in the dancing game community
Allows custom songs: players can play songs from their computer _________________

You better hope it's not a SN2 machine. I've seen some vids and I was pretty unhappy with the syncing. |

how the HELL did you afford that? seriousely, i think having a decent car would be nicer than a ITG cab. i mean, anything under like $6000 would have been reasonable, but $12,000? wow. |
