I think the main problem we're going to see is the difference between personal feeling and the company line.

I'd bet money that most if not all members of the In The Groove staff are not oblivious to the fact that ITG itself arose indirectly as a result of the simulation community, but you'd be hard pressed to get one of them to come out on the record saying "Simfiles are OK" because that is like saying "Steal our album".

In fact, someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard many times that Roxor don't mind simulated stepfiles, it's when files are being ripped from the game itself and used as a substitute to the real thing that they are less happy.
