But when it comes to Max 300 and Sakura I just like listening and it usaully comes to either a AA or a AAA.

Yeah, good luck Max 300, LOM, and MU is tough enough to AAA on Heavy unless your Yasu. Sakura is a bit tricky to AAA cause of the slowdown with the freeze and the Left step.

Heh...this is just like all the sports psychology stuff I did when I was playing competitive golf.

I try to concentrate on ANYTHING but the final result. Envision the perfects in the present, but NOT in the future. AAAs are lost in the last quarter of a song usually because of a mental error. Chubs' experience is normal but destructive; AAAs only happen when you overcome feelings of nervousness and excitement. When I got CSFIL SM double (my only good AAA) I tried really hard simply to get perfects on all the steps. Thinking of bragging to your friends or getting a picture afterward is the absolute worst thing you can do.

I do what most people do when I have a AAA so far, I get excited. Since I don't have too many Heavy AAA's yet (5) I don't often expect them. Just the other day I had a AAA on Magic door right to the chorus on the end and I shout out "hey look I have a AAA so far!" and right as I said that I got a great.....Well hopefully these tips will help me and other people. I'll be heading to the arcade and hopefully come home with a few heavy AAA's.

Ah yes, I was playing On the Jazz last night and got to the last three steps and thought to myself, "time to get a picture" and got a great. Oh man, was I pissed. However, a few tries later...

I tried not to think that same thing that time. E10.gif

Well that is a nice AAA, but I must say that is the worst song ever! I hate that song. Good job though. I notice that on the majority of AAA's it's always 2x accomponied by solo. Does this help? I want to keep my AAA's at 1x for now. I tried to relax today while trying to AAA and it sorta worked. I must have got excited once during the song because I got 1 great on Magic door heavy disturb.gif
