What song does "Only You" Cover? I love that song and i wanna know its original

It's a revision of The Platters "Only You", done in the 50's.

Freedom is, in fact, the original artist of "Get Up & Dance", which was a 70's track. It's legit.

ALOT of ddr songs are actually originals made by small-time bands and stuff so youll never hear amost of them on the radio.. people like e-rotic, captain jack, jenny rom are real singer and konami uses their songs {shortened and cut down of coolness} in DDR.you can actually buy their cd's in stores prsonally i do own afew e-rotic cd's {makes good love-making soundtrack thumb.gif and aLOT of TaQ who is just about my favorite dj of all time.

The olivia project is a group that redoes olivia newton john songs.. sounds like a cult..

apparently " The Legend of MAX" was a movie in the 80's

so pretty much everything thats not made by Naoki is made by.... someone else...

It's Raining Men - Originally done by The Weather Girls, which included Martha Wash, well known for her voice in many songs done by Black Box's "Everybody Everybody" & C&C Music Factory's "Sweat (Everybody Get Down)". Geri Halliwell (formerly Ginger Spice of the Spice Girls) remade the song. Humorously, The Weather Girls have admitted to hating Geri's remake.

Highs Off U - The horn section plays the tune similar to Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You". The rapper is MC Lyte, in which the lyrics are from her song "Cold Rock A Party".

Superstition - Off of Disney's Rave, the original song done by Stevie Wonder.

Lovin You - Originally done by Mimi Ripperton

Strictly Business - Original song for the sample "I Shot The Sherriff" by Bob Marley. Sample was used by EPMD for "Strictly Business", then remixed by Mantronik.

Whao! Really? They sound nothing alike! All the captain Jack songs I know that are covers (Centerfold, Iko Iko, Dream a Dream...etc) Have the same beat and somewhat lyrics of their originals. would you happen to know the original of "Get Up" By Captain Jack?

Hah, one song I thought of that I'd totally forgotten...

"I Believe in Miracles" by Hi-Rise is actually a cover of The Jackson Sisters' version.

Bet no one expected this, the original of "Im In the Mood For Dancing" By the Nolan Sisters. Sounds so oldies but it was an 80's hit.

http://www.nolansfanclub.co.uk/

That song is so catchy E15.gif

enter their website to hear the original. I know the intro is playing it but if you want to hear the real thing youre gonna have to look for it. E4.gif

Here are the ones that I know of that aren't mentioned yet .. or maybe I missed some? riiight.gif

"Irresistibilment" by Wildside is originally by Sylvie Vartan. It's from the mid 60's.

"Fantasy" by Lockout is originally by Kelly Llorenna (who, btw, is horrible at covering "Tell it to my heart")

"Get Off" by Wizzzard is somewhat of a cover of "Get Off" by Foxy.

"Furuhata's theme" is a remix of the theme song to a TV Drama called "Ninzaburo Furuhata"

"Moonlight Shadow" by Missing Heart is originally by Groove Coverage.

"Vol. 4" by Ravers Choice is a remix of "Popcorn" by Hot Butter.

"Cat's Eye" by E-rotic is originally by Japanese pop artist Anri (anyone remember "Love Song ga Kikoeru" from Tenchi Muyo in Love 2?)

"So Many Men" by Me and My is originally a disco song by Miquel Brown.

"Sky High" by DJ Miko is originally a one-hit-wonder song by Jigsaw.

"My Fire" by X-Treme is originally by Dan Hartman (remember "I can dream about you"?)

"Club Tropicana" by Cydney D is originally by Wham!

"Dream a Dream" by Captain Jack sounds like "In the Hall of the Mountain King".

I think that's all for now. happy.gif

No way it can be 99%, probably way less than that.

If you haven't listened to the original My Sweet Darnin you're missing out.

Sakura is also a remake. My friend said he played it in his band in high school.

It is funny but isn't ever DDR song real? E15.gif Anyway from what I heard keyboardmania rips-off like 99% of it's songs by just making them sound different than the origninal (I was told this but when I played the volume was low so I couldn't exactly tell).
