I assume that the server is running under a *nix environment, in which case clustering would be feasible for quenching the monstrous demand for resources that this board places on the host. The forum database also appears to be in dire need of pruning.

To help with the server performance, we are going to experiment with Zend Performance Suite. Neither I nor blue^ have DSL yet, so we will start playing with it next week hopefully.
