dood... a flawless PSM heavy AAA.

Unfortunately, his pad got AAA'd as well. This is reason enough to buy a metal pad instead of this piece of bullcrap.

Any questions?

Yeah. How do we know he AAA'd the song*, and what purpose does this thread serve?

*I seriously doubt this, as the pad didn't tear like that all at once, and all the damage the pad was taking would've caused a Great somewhere.

I have a question: How do you get less than 20 non-combos with a softpad?

you guys take stuff way too seriously - it's supposed to be a joke.

After about 20 times of playing on it, it just broke, and this is what became of it.

This was one of those pads that came in the DDR Extreme/Extreme 2 bundles - don't think about getting those for Xmas, the pad is crap - modding won't do squat for it.

I also got a great look inside it. The sensors are all "wired" on two big sheets or ceram wrap and only a paper thin foam seperates the contacts with little holes all around it. The plastic over the chip is so thin - it completely broke after only 3 missteps.

Is that the konami pad? I've had mine for almost a year and it's still great E1.gif

Yeah, the insides are interesting. I cut open a madkatz one to get the control board for my home pad, and I was suprised how it looks

that pad isnt a konami one. the konami one only has the four arrows, start select, X and O. the one in the pic has the square and triangle buttons added in. it looks like a Naki DPR or DPR2 or a crappy Topway mat you'd find on ebay

My older brother and I got bored once and took a lawnmower to one of those pads. It looked VERY close to that. Nice!!

yah - it's some other 3rd party crap - a konami one would take a table saw to do that - all this PoS took was a few steps on the plastic stuff and 20 times on heavy mode....

Twas fun capturing its doom on camera. It's wadded up in my trash can right next to me right now. E4.gif
